Personal information which you provide, or which is provided to PartyLite, may be shared with selected PartyLite Consultants to facilitate our service to you or for the purposes of communication, order information or becoming a Guest, Hostess or PartyLite Consultant. PartyLite may also use your personal information to contact you to keep you informed of developments or opportunities in relation to PartyLite, or any of its products or services. If you do not wish to receive this information in the future or if you would prefer that we not use your personal information, please inform us by using the "opt-out" or "unsubscribe" options provided on our electronic communications.
We also may share aggregated, not personally identifiable, personal information and/or your personal information with affiliated companies and selected PartyLite Consultants for the purpose of improving our processing of information and service to you. We may share your personal information, in a secure fashion, with select trusted vendors that participate with PartyLite in communications with Customers, or in promotional events and general Customer service. Contractual or other appropriate means are used to ensure compliance by such vendors with this policy and all applicable privacy laws. Although PartyLite may include links to unaffiliated companies on this website, we will not share personal information with them.
Personal information will be held for no longer than required by law or for the purposes for which it was collected as described in this policy.

Storage and Security of Personal Information
PartyLite has adopted reasonable technical and organizational security measures to prevent unauthorized or unlawful access to or accidental loss of or destruction of your personal information. All personal information which is retained is encrypted and all systems linked to the internet are equipped with firewalls and tested regularly to provide a high level of security.

Your personal information may be subject to disclosure in accordance with the laws of such jurisdiction.
Ordering Online
We request personal information from all Customers when they order from a Consultant or from us on the Internet. Such information is used primarily to facilitate filling your order and to enable payment collection. Personal information gathered when ordering online is used in the same way as all other information which we gather and shared in the same way (see above). In these circumstances, a Customer must provide contact information (such as name and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number and expiration date). When our order form asks you to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with sophisticated encryption software. This information is not retained. This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer's orders only. Email address information may be used for confirmation of an order by PartyLite, a PartyLite Consultant, a PartyLite Hostess and confirmation of shipment by a third party shipper. If we have trouble processing an order, this information is used to contact you for resolution. This information will be retained by PartyLite.
Cookies and IP Addresses
A cookie is a piece of information stored on your hard drive containing information about you. PartyLite may place cookies on your hard drive to assist in site navigation and to personalize your experience on this website.
